Trump's and Israel's war, threatening to blow up the world based on lies and greed, goes beyond comprehension. In 1953, the US kicked off this mess by placing democratically elected Mohammad Mosaddegh under house arrest, by the CIA, in order for England to gain access to Iranian oil. To insure access, the Shah was installed as defacto dictator, whereby Iran experienced a brutal crackdown for the ages which, in 1979, the country, who was our friend in 1953, revolted against the Shah and became a theocracy.  Because Iran is a real country, and is not Arab, it's a problem for Israel as Israel wants to become Greater Israel as per Zionist philosophy and Iran stands in it's way. Because Trump's bought and paid for by Zionist oligarchs, Trump does Bibi's bidding and here we are. Question, do you think Ike would have tolerated this insanity or Nixon? I thought so.

Mohammad Mosaddegh[a][b] (16 June 1882 – 5 March 1967) was an Iranian politician, author and lawyer who served as the prime minister of Iran from 1951 to 1953, elected by the 16th Majlis.[5][6] He was elected to the Iranian parliament in 1923 and served through a contentious 1952 election into the 17th Iranian Majlis,[7] until his government was overthrown in the 1953 Iranian coup d'état aided by the intelligence agencies of the United Kingdom (MI6) and the United States (CIA), led by Kermit Roosevelt Jr.[8][9] As prime minister, he implemented policies that came to be known as Mosaddeghism.

Before its removal from power, his administration introduced a range of social and political measures such as social security, land reforms and higher taxes including the introduction of taxation on the rent of land. His time as prime minister was marked by the clash with the British government, known as the Abadan Crisis, following the nationalisation of the Iranian oil industry, which had been built by the British on Persian lands since 1913 through the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC/AIOC), later known as British Petroleum (BP).[10]

In the aftermath of the overthrow, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi consolidated power and negotiated the Consortium Agreement of 1954 with the British, which gave split ownership of Iranian oil production between Iran and Western companies until 1979.[11

Fast forward to 2026

A week after the United States and Iran signed a preliminary deal aimed at ending the war, an Iranian drone slammed into a cargo ship sailing through the Strait of Hormuz.

There were no casualties or major damage, but the June 25 attack set off a chain of hostilities that would put the two countries on a path back toward all-out war less than a month after they agreed to stop fighting.

Each strike and counterstrike chipped away at the pillars of the agreement, which has now collapsed, though there are still efforts to salvage it. Red lines set by both sides have been crossed. A return to full-scale war that would further destabilize the Middle East and disrupt the world economy appears increasingly likely.
