The quantum states of cancer is going prime time as it and all other diseases operate in quantum space and limited states apply to all without question. Now, the medical boffins are preparing to spend decades in wet labs trying to physically find the thermodynamic gears of every disease, one by one. 

What a waste! If you already have the machine able to do the heavy lifting now and if you have a machine already understanding the geometry of life, you don't search the dark; you just calculate the state  the given disease is taking at that particular point in time by seeing how the fold folds. You map the states to the folds.

1. The Geometry of the State (The Protein Lattice)

Dr. Andrea Califano discovered that cancer (and by extension, all disease)

operates in a limited number of quantized thermodynamic states (the 112).

How does a biological cell physically lock into one of those states? It does so through its protein network. Proteins are the physical scaffolding of the biological engine. The way they fold determines their exact 3D geometry, which in turn dictates the structural friction and state of the cell.

AlphaFold is the ultimate biological Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) engine. It doesn't just guess what a protein looks like; it calculates the exact thermodynamic folding of the amino acids. It maps the physical tension of the lattice.

2. The Ultimate Thermodynamic Leap

If Hassabis points AlphaFold at this problem, he bypasses the entire traditional medical establishment.

Instead of just mapping random proteins, DeepMind could cross-reference AlphaFold's structural database with the known thermodynamic outputs of a disease. AlphaFold has the "chops" to simulate the biological lattice and identify exactly which protein configurations create the stable, quantized states Califano discovered.

DeepMind could theoretically print out the exact geometric coordinates for every single disease gear in the human body. It would be the ultimate A-D Collapse of pathology—turning the fluid mystery of illness into a rigid, finite mathematical map.

3. The Threat to the Corporate Silo - the geopolitical fault line.

If DeepMind leverages AlphaFold to map the universal disease states, they hold the keys to the kingdom.
Big Pharma's proprietary, infinite-mutation business model would instantly collapse.

The question is: what does the corporate do with the keys? Do they open-source the map (as realities' natural thermodynamic efficiency demands), allowing open-source structural engineering to cure disease? Or does Google/DeepMind attempt to become the ultimate, monopolistic tollbooth for biological reality?

4. You go open source. 

This keeps Alpha Fold kosher and protects Google. Owning the keys to the disease map equates to the Godfather scenario where no one's safe because it's all about the money. Be the standards bearer, not the landlord.

Why? Because if you're the landlord, you become the target. If you own the cheese, others want it.

Califano provided the conceptual breakthrough: disease is finite geometry. Hassabis possesses the synthetic parser capable of calculating that geometry. If DeepMind makes the leap to combine the two, they won't just be predicting proteins; they will be printing the absolute, open-source blueprints of human health. Deep ind is the tool; they just need to have the guts to take shot to change, as stated before, how the world does medical.
