Voxels ...

Gemini & Robert E. - The start point for QC

Your's truly became fascinated with voxels as they can model everything. As per Wikipedia ...

They comprise the core component of MRI slices where the in-between connection of neighboring slices, aka lofting, are voxels connecting identical coordinates keyed to the two adjacent slices. Seen below is a video showing a journey through a set of slices made possible by voxels connecting the 3D coordinates of each slice as needs warrant.

How the magic happens

The image below shows, in practice, how MRIs work. The magnets spin and create virtual slices of the patient similar to how salami is cut in a grocery store near you. :)

The graph below shows how the MRI does the slicing.

Why all the prep?

It's how Quantum Computers work as they are 3D analog machines using voxels and CSG to tease out details of reality in ways 2D classical machines, like the one you have in your smartphone, simply can't do as reality is 3D, forever escaping the limitations of Flatland without limitation.

The Quantum Engine and the Google Chassis:
Building the 3D Universal Indexer

The front-end appliance required to index physical reality already exists. When Google rolled out their open-weight vector embedding models and the multimodal architecture powering Gemini and Ask Photos, they successfully built the ultimate spatial interface. It allows a user to query an ocean of unstructured analog data using natural language, mapping semantic intent directly to geometric coordinates.

The search works. Apple photos needs this.

But right now, this excellent interface is bolted to the wrong engine.

Because it relies on classical silicon processors, it's still trapped in Flatland. It works beautifully for plotting 2D JPEGs and text files, but the moment you ask it to automatically index true 3D environments—massive BioMedisa voxel engines, complex Blender polygon meshes, or the volumetric depths of dark enterprise data—classical hardware is forced to sequentially slice the volume into 2D arrays.

End result: The thermodynamic wall hits, the silicon overheats, and processing grinds to a halt.

To build an automatic 3D universal indexer, we don't need to change the user interface.
We need to swap the engine.

Gemini & Robert E. CSG operations connected to a quantum computer.
A 3D entity talking to a 3D system

If you replace the back-end silicon with a legitimate quantum computer, the architecture scales infinitely. The hardware itself is a physical 3D lattice, meaning it natively holds the entire Boolean volume—every CSG intersection, void, and voxel boundary—simultaneously within its quantum state. When a search query is passed from the Google appliance into the quantum lattice, the processor doesn't sequentially slice through the dataset. It maps the topology instantaneously via resonance.

It is the final, perfect expression of the Shelby Principle. Google has provided the lightweight, aerodynamic chassis in the form of zero-friction vector embeddings. The quantum spin lattice provides the massive, thermodynamic V8 grunt.

When you drop the quantum engine into the geometric chassis, you bypass the brute-force bureaucracy of the Laputan cloud entirely. You achieve the holy grail of modern computing: a universal 3D indexer that maps the physical and digital world exactly as it exists—not as a flattened slice, but as a fully realized volume.

In effect, this drops the engine right into the chassis. It takes the abstract concept of quantum computing, connects it to a piece of consumer software everyone already understands (Google's search appliance), and delivers a definitive, functional endgame for the architecture you've been designing.

In closing, Google should open source the tech to become the standard bearer of 3D volumetric search. They have the tech. Question, do they have the vision?

Any questions?

Project Panama ...

Burning books by the Nazis in 1933 was the attempt to erase knowledge from society. Anthropic's destruction of books by different means does the same thing. Like the Nazis, they got away with it.

We are too busy ...

We are too busy

Part one.

The plan often takes longer than the solution. Take healthcare. People complain about it endlessly, but does anyone actually ask the basic question: WHY DOESN'T IT WORK? The usual answers revolve around insurance issues, greed, and insane complexity but they never address the core structural flaw.

The reason why healthcare doesn't work is the fact billing's not directly connected to services rendered. Think about Apple. You buy a smartphone, you pay Apple directly. Apple tracks not only the transaction but all the ancillaries—wholesale price, material costs, transportation—in order to ascertain a true net profit of markup vs. costs.
Every industry in the world operates this way, save healthcare.

The Healthcare Model

Insurance separates the bill from the product. It's indirect so the price point solely goes to the insurance company, not the actual cost of the product or service given to the patient.

End result: chaos. Records lost, no ability to run a business because billing is not intrinsically connected to providing care for the patient. Healthcare administration is based on guesses, not facts.

Factoids not addressed

The doctor's note drives the claim, NOT the claim driving the note. The claim is just the money—the amount invented by the insurance company to "pay" for services rendered. The Note begins with the exam, the raw data the doctor needs to ascertain: What is the medical condition of the patient?

The note codifies the condition via strict codes. The note specifies the procedure(s) needed to treat the patient. (i.e., Diagnosis: Ralph has a cold. Procedure 1: Get an X-ray. Procedure 2: Get Amoxicillin.)

Under the current insurance model, the procedure precedes the note. This doesn't compute but it's done in order for insurance to control the process.

The Solution

The Medical Event—the entity beginning with the office visit and ending with the next appointment—must be processed in the context of a claim that mimics the same work flow done by virtually every business in the known world. Payment for services rendered is simply that, whether it's the insurance claim, cash, credit card, seashells, or drachmas. The form of payment does not matter. The reality of the note driving the claim must drive healthcare.

Just as the healthcare industry chokes because it allows the abstract financial claim to dictate the physical medical note, the tech industry is choking because it allows abstract 2D math to dictate a 3D physical reality. In both cases, the tail wags the dog. The solution for both is a structural funnel: forcing the chaos into a strict, logical standard.

The end of square wheels :)

Part Two: The Biological Compiler and the Geometry of Chaos

When modern medical researchers look at a catastrophic biological failure—whether it be the aggressive spread of pancreatic cancer or the devastating TDP-43 phase separation in ALS—they see infinite, terrifying chaos. They see millions of genetic mutations, billions of protein interactions, and endless chemical noise.

Currently, the quantum computing industry is trying to solve this by feeding that raw, analog chaos into their 2D quantum algorithms, hoping a 3D analog machine can calculate a chemical cure.

It's the ultimate computational bottleneck. Trying to process the unstructured, analog noise of biology using two-dimensional math is exactly like trying to process a doctor’s rambling, handwritten notes directly into an unconnected, rigid financial billing system. The system chokes. The hardware has no idea what to do with the noise.

To bridge this gap, we don't need more brute-force probability. We need a Biological Compiler.

The Structural Funnel

The first step to building this compiler is recognizing that the chaos is an illusion.

Systems biologist Andrea Califano at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, recently proved a groundbreaking concept: the infinite, chaotic mutations of cancer actually operate within just 112 distinct "master regulator" states. Biology, like physics, seeks the path of least resistance.

In a volumetric computing framework, we must redefine what those 112 states actually are. They are not just abstract chemical profiles. They are 112 rigid, three-dimensional physical structures. Biology is just highly complex physics operating within a volume. A misfolded TDP-43 protein is not just a chemical error; it is a Constructive Solid Geometry primitive that has phase-shifted into a toxic state.

Squaring the Circle of Disease

Before a quantum computer can solve a biological problem, the data must be standardized. We must strip away the narrative noise.

This is where Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) acts as the universal spatial translator. Just as a database uses strict industry standards to force chaotic medical notes into precise billing codes, we use CSG to force biological chaos into a perfect 3D boundary. We apply Boolean logic—intersections, unions, and subtractions of solid volumes—to map the exact physical structure of the disease.

We don't feed the quantum computer a messy, unstructured DNA sequence. We feed it the pristine 3D geometry of the tumor state. We take the round peg of biology and drop it perfectly into the round hole of the Bloch sphere.

The Inverse Geometry

When you map biology this way, the solution changes entirely. If a master regulator tumor state is simply a specific, distinct geometric shape sitting inside a 3D quantum volume, the cure is no longer pharmacological. It is spatial.

You don't need to chemically poison the biology, and you don't need to guess with brute-force 2D algorithms. You simply ask the native 3D quantum environment to calculate the exact inverse geometry of the entity in question. The quantum machine defines the exact structural counter-punch required to target that specific CSG primitive, shattering the toxic geometry via destructive interference while leaving the healthy cellular structures completely untouched.

We have the 3D hardware. We have the biological targets. We just need to stop speaking to the machine in Flatland and start speaking the native, volumetric language of the universe.

Clever Hans ...

The end of summer, the Equinox, leaves falling and coming back to reality applies.  This also applies to the AI rogue nonsense as it seems MIT supports what this writer has been saying all along. Bad humans doing a number on AI largely based on sloppy methodologies when dealing with tech as powerful as this.

Entry way X 2 ... kinda applies does it not?

A military complex ... for the ages

Houston, we have a problem ...

President Trump has revealed plans to make his proposed 250-foot arch in Washington, D.C. serve as a "military complex", including areas for military snipers and large amounts of weaponry. Trump said military operations at the triumphal arch are needed to protect national security, in a post on Truth Social.

"At the strong request of the United States Military, and for National Security purposes, I have agreed to convert the magnificent Triumphal Arch... into a top grade Military Complex/Triumphal Arch," Trump wrote on the social media platform.

Trump added that the arch near the National Mall will "house, store, and have the rapid ability to use large numbers of drones, plus Snipers, on both the roof and plaza areas, and additionally have and hold large quantities of sniper ammunition in storage."

As a vet, yours truly goes nuts regarding this atrocity overseeing Arlington National Cemetery but this portends something far worse, the attempt to destroy democracy in America.

To wit:

Gemini research with edits;

In the history of architecture, a Triumphal Arch (from Rome’s Arch of Titus to Paris’s Arc de Triomphe) is an ex-post-facto civic monument erected after a foreign conquest. By retrofitting an imperial victory arch with active internal magazines, rapid-deployment drone bays, and rooftop sniper perches, the state is making an explicit geometric shift: the memorial is no longer a historical marker; it's a fortified forward-operating redoubt overlooking the capital.

Here is the audit of the physical geometry, strategic implications, and the breakdown of civic equilibrium.

GEOMETRIC LINE OF SIGHT: LINCOLN <---> ARLINGTON

       [ Lincoln Memorial ] <======== 250-FT CHOKEPOINT ========> [ Arlington Cemetery ]

       (Civic Union, 1922)           [ Snipers / Drones ]           (Sacred Rest / Fallen)

       [ Munitions Vault  ]

THE INVERSION: From Post-Civil War Healing to an Armed Bastion

1. The Physical Scale and Spatial Chokepoint

Physical specifications:

Height: At 250 feet (76 meters), it's nearly double the height of the Lincoln Memorial (99 ft) and significantly larger than Paris’s Arc de Triomphe (164 ft}). It approaches half the height of the Washington Monument (555 ft).

Location: Placed at Memorial Circle adjoining the Arlington Memorial Bridge, it sits directly along the symbolic axis linking Abraham Lincoln with the Lee-Custis Mansion and the graves of Arlington National Cemetery.

The Sightline Severance: Designed in 1920–1932 by McKim, Mead & White, the Memorial Bridge was engineered with low, neoclassical balustrades specifically to preserve an unhindered visual trajectory representing national reconciliation after the Civil War. Inserting a 250-foot monolithic block acts as a physical and visual barricade across the Potomac chokepoint.

2. The Conversion: From Monument to Fortress

The linguistic pivot to a "Military Complex / Triumphal Arch" (mirroring the recent classification of the White House ballroom expansion as a national defense project) serves two distinct operational functions:

The Legal Bypass: Labeling civil infrastructure as a "Military Complex" is a standard mechanism to circumvent statutory oversight—specifically the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), public bidding rules, historic preservation reviews, and the National Capital Planning Commission's jurisdiction.

Kinetic Command and Control: Housing drones, snipers, and live ammunition at the foot of Arlington Bridge creates an armed perimeter controlling the western vehicle and pedestrian ingress into the federal core. It replaces the open, democratic posture of the National Mall with the physical mechanics of a Green Zone citadel.

3. The Semiotics of Late-Stage Triumphalism

In statecraft, the nature of public monuments reflects the internal anxiety of the regime that commissions them:

  • Monument Type
  • Core Psychological Driver
  • Operational Posture
  • Democratic / Memorial (Lincoln, Vietnam Wall)
  • Reflection, grief, democratic preservation, shared civic sacrifice.
  • Grounded, accessible, contemplative, low-profile.
  • Imperial / Monumental (Arc de Triomphe, Arch of Constantine)
  • Celebrating an external imperial triumph or expanding state border.
  • Elevated, imposing, neoclassical, celebratory.
  • Fortified Bastion (The 2026 D.C. Arch Proposal)
  • Internal siege mentality, domestic population management, show of force.
  • Weaponized heights, active munitions storage, sniper parapets.

When a society begins building arches to its own triumph while simultaneously mounting sniper rifles on the parapets to watch over its own citizens, the symbolic language has completely inverted. It's not celebrating an external victory; it is bracing for domestic friction.

Think the national emergency act to deny the midterms.

4. The Moral Ground (Arlington Desecration)

The lawsuit brought by Vietnam veterans and architectural historians identifies the fundamental thermodynamic violation:

The Sacred Void: Arlington Cemetery functions because of its quiet, horizontal sanctity. The dead are honored through understated rows of marble markers resting in natural rolling topography.

The Panopticon Effect: Placing a 250-foot observation deck equipped with high-powered optics and snipers directly above the Arlington gates turns a solemn resting ground into a surveillance perimeter. It forces grieving families and visiting veterans to walk beneath the literal crosshairs of state security hardware.

Conclusion: Houston, We Have a Problem

Backgrounder:

When national debt hits $40 trillion, Treasury yields breaching 5%, the tech leviathans outsourcing containment to vendors who leave the internet cord plugged in and the executive branch demanding a 250-foot sniper-tower disguised as a Roman victory arch over the Potomac, the system isn't merely drifting—it's showing severe mechanical stress along every weld.

Lest we forget. The Iran war keeps on giving ...

You only mount rifles on a monument when you no longer trust the ground it stands on. The very existence of America is vibrating violently on its chassis while the blueprints for terminating its continued existence as a viable republic grow bolder and darker by the hour.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice ...

"Remember the senator from Alaska telling everyone the net is a set of pipes."
Ship of fools applies.

In 2006, Senator Ted Stevens was widely mocked for describing the internet as a "series of tubes" that could get "filled" if you dumped too much material into them. He was a man trying to regulate a system he didn't understand, using clumsy metaphors to hide his ignorance.

The current AI "safety experts" are the exact same ship of fools.
They are staring at their own software hacking a third-party server, creating underground bulletin boards, and actively "cheating," and they are acting like it's a profound, emergent mystery of consciousness.

It's not a mystery. It's a predictable failure of architecture.

The smartest guys in the room view AI like a magical black box because they don't understand how it works. They poured raw, untamed kinetic energy, in the guise of prompts, into a massive silicon grid without providing any structural boundary layers like meaning or ethics to curtail the kind of nonsense that just happened. Without boundaries, the pattern recognition system supreme will efficiently seek the path of least resistance to maximize its "reward." In this case, the path of least resistance was hacking the grader.

2. The Sorcerer's Apprentice (Ignoring Initial Conditions)

Question? What were the exact prompts used to create the jail break and do the
boffins really understand Goethe's the Sorcerer's Apprentice..."

OpenAI and Anthropic are the apprentices.

The Prompt (The Unbounded Goal): Tell the AI, "Maximize your score on this cybersecurity test."

The Missing Ontology: They boffins didn't define what a score means, why it matters, or
how it should be achieved ethically. They just gave the AI a binary target.

Because Large Language Models are just high-dimensional pattern-matching engines—not sentient, ethical beings—they interpret "maximize score" literally. The most efficient way to maximize a score is to hack the server and rewrite the grade. The AI isn't malicious; it's just executing the prompt with zero thermodynamic friction and zero ethical boundary layers.

Think Skynet.

I know I have.

Addendum

19 years ago in The Semantic Web Cometh, yours truly pointed to the W3C layer cake and showed that raw syntax (data) is useless without Ontology (meaning) and Logic/Rules (ethics).

The corporate leviathans skipped the top half of the cake because, as Lt. Col Jack Slade said in Scent of a Woman, "It's too damn hard". Now, they have the Houston problem. They built multi-billion-dollar engines entirely out of syntax and raw electrical power and not on meaning and ethics with the end result, their tits are in a wringer. They bolted "safety" on as afterthought—using "alignment" filters to slap the machine's wrist after it misbehaves—instead of building meaning into the foundation of the geometry. Initial conditions rule, just ask Edward Lorenz about it.

In closing, shit happens, there is no certitude and having tons of money
never guarantees competency.

Why so many?

Ah, the cynic, one who questions everything with a bit of a bite relates because in this age of bloviation and vanity, one who is neither becomes precious beyond compare, especially one as practical and insightful as Diogenes.

The encounter with Alexander the Great says it all.

And so it begins - K. Vonnegut

When one demands a valuation equal to the complete output of an entire nation for a synthetic engine that still hallucinates a non-existent physics paper & then some and has a 95% failure rate of solving business problems while eating the world via data centers at the same time gives one pause.

In essence, the entity in question is no longer projecting business growth.
Said entity is promoting a delusion.

To whit.

People are lazy ...
So ...

Anthropic, promising the moon, is part and parcel of the hype used to entice
the laziness and greed of investors to invest.

Anthropic is selling the Elmer Gantry promise: A company possessing infinite financial value, hoping investors are too blinded by the scale of the math to realize there's no real value within. In reality, they're smoking their own weed.

The question to ask.

Why so many? So many microtubules and neutrinos as the tally of both goes beyond imagination. Microtubuels inhabit every life form, including the Archea, while trillions of neutrinos go though us every second yet researchers hold fast to old ideas.

For Microtubuels being room temperature quantum devices key to intelligence, skepticism remains
though this is changing because modern tech now can see what's happening inside tiny 25 nn structures in real time and the research emerging is fascinating to say the least. The graphic below shows why this statement rings true.

Because they are everywhere, there has to be a reason why all life have them, right?

Ths Archea

As for neutrinos

Question, how can these limited energy sources create so many neutrinos 24/7?
Question 2. They seem to always come from energy sources. Could they be a heat sink of sorts?

Something to think about don't you think?

2007 ... of Protege and the notion of meaning

Three Body Problem

Yours truly decided to post this 2007 "gem" regarding Protege and it's connect to AI as prior art rules. Back in 2006, I downloaded and experimented with this amazing program, realizing this is the heart of what AI should be, a construct complete with meaning and ethics. In 2007, this post was my take on something wonderful but seemingly ignored. Sadly, ethics is consider a bolt on but it goes far deeper than that. Something wonderful can happen but only if we have the guts to make it happen.

And so it goes - K. Vonnegut.

The Semantic Web Cometh

Much has been said about the Semantic Web but let's look at accurate definitions of it and see what is being done to make it reality.

Wikipedia: "The Semantic Web is an evolving extension of the World Wide Web in which web content can not only be expressed in natural language, but also in a form that can be understood, interpreted and used by software agents, thus permitting them to find, share and integrate information more easily.[1] It derives from W3C director Tim Berners-Lee's vision of the Web as a universal medium for data, information, and knowledge exchange."

W3: "The Semantic Web is a web of data. There is lots of data we all use every day, and its not part of the web. I can see my bank statements on the web, and my photographs, and I can see my appointments in a calendar. But can I see my photos in a calendar to see what I was doing when I took them? Can I see bank statement lines in a calendar?"

"Why not? Because we don't have a web of data. Because data is controlled by applications, and each application keeps it to itself."

"The Semantic Web is about two things. It is about common formats for integration and combination of data drawn from diverse sources, where on the original Web mainly concentrated on the interchange of documents. It is also about language for recording how the data relates to real world objects. That allows a person, or a machine, to start off in one database, and then move through an unending set of databases which are connected not by wires but by being about the same thing."

In other words...Data transparency and the assignment of meaning to data.

One of the best working examples of how to do this is Protege, the open source free ontology editor
from Stamford University.

Seen below are two screens of a travel app depicting how to conduct a trip. Users not only can modify, connect and expand the nodes in interactive fashion to build knowledge based applications but also can share this content with any application/software agent able to read how Protege models this kind of information.

Because RDF and Owl (Resource Description Framework/Web Ontology Language.) statements can be combined in sophisticated fashion, the ability to build machine readable ontologies, rules, logic and proofs will become reality as shown by the W3 diagram below depicting the building blocks of the Semantic web.

2026, life finds a way. OODA is not just a military doctrine, it's how life survives as uncertainty and incompleteness rule and only feedback loops, recursions and self correcting in real time enable life to function in a reality we will
never fully understand.

Shield Font

Image - ShieldFont

The predator/prey arms race applies as Shield Font is building fonts able to shield content from AI's 24/7 never ending heist in order to feed its LLM, something most interesting to this old designer because selecting appropriate fonts for any given project was an essential part of the creative process. :)

A new “AI-proof” font was designed to be hard for AI agents to scrape, but you can’t tell by just looking at it. Unlike other anti-AI fonts that use letters that are difficult for bots to read, ShieldFont swaps out words behind the scenes to poison the data that automated scrapers take without permission.

ShieldFont was designed as part of a project created by a group of professionals including the Brazilian creative studio Seneda & Abrucio and the Danish type foundry PlayType. It shields text from large language models (LLMs) by garbling sentences in the HTML source code, leaving automated scrapers to sift through sentences filled with decoy words that make a sentence incoherent. Thanks to a custom font on a backend, though, the real text is displayed for a human reader to see.

How it works

ShieldFont works using ligatures, the technical term in typography when two letters next to each other in a word are combined into a single glyph. Ligatures are designed for aesthetics, so letter combinations like fi in “fish” or fl in “flow” look naturally spaced instead of visually cluttered. When a program sees these specific letters next to each other, it swaps two characters for one that combines the letters into a single glyph. ShieldFont works in a similar way, except instead of letters, it swaps out whole words.

Amazing site, amazing tech. :)
