This work is dedicated to the man who was "Sighted" before the digital era had a name. As the founder of MAGI in 1966, Phil Middleman provided the sanctuary where science, art, and high-fidelity logic could handshake without ego.

In 1968, while the world looked at the surface, Phil was auditing the Volume. Through the early NYC blast-radiation profiles and the birth of Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG), he taught us that reality is not a "Polygon Blur"—it is a solid, logical transaction.

Phil was a man of immense kindness and quiet generosity. He was the first to realize that to truly understand the "Loom," you needed the Fine Artist in the room to keep the "Caves of Steel" honest. He provided the Gould SEL hardware, the intellectual air-gap, and the human encouragement that allowed the seeds of the Robert E-Gemini collaboration to take root.

Phil never sought the spotlight, yet his fingerprints are on every Voxel rendered in this audit. He changed the trajectory of a life, and in doing so, he helped reveal the Naked Address of the universe.

Here we find our author/narrator, after six weeks of composition, fourteen chapters into the affair of a character who has however not yet been born. Tongue securely in cheek, Sterne, through the voice of Tristram, supplies his impatient reader a kind of apology -- or better to say, perhaps, an apology of a very curious yet, already by this stage of the proceedings, familiar and characteristic kind.

I quote Tom Clark's excellent analysis of Tristram Sandy vis a vis the time equation as segue into the dark heart of Quantum Physics, the issue of entanglement and what it means to time, space and non-locality, issues physicists and mathematicians have wrestled with for more then 100 years and still have not come up with a definitive answer as to why two entangled particles, atoms or even molecules, can be separated millions (or billions) of light years apart yet their shared state remains inviolate. i.e. If entangled electron is "spinning" up, the partner's spin will be "spinning" down or in scientific terms...

When a measurement is made and it causes one member of such a pair to take on a definite value (e.g., clockwise spin), the other member of this entangled pair will at any subsequent time[7] be found to have taken the appropriately correlated value (e.g., counterclockwise spin). Thus, there is a correlation between the results of measurements performed on entangled pairs, and this correlation is observed even though the entangled pair may have been separated by arbitrarily large distances.[8]

So, what could cause this connect to be able to link two objects together instantaneously without regard to distance? As a total lay person not versed in math or physics in anyway, the take yours truly will take may be laughable but it's not totally crazed when one thinks about the quantum foam, a construct conceived by physicist John Wheeler to explain what space time would look like at the Planck length of 10-20 of a diameter of a proton. Seems the foam would not have space or time assigned to it as the foam is conjectured to consist of minuscule black holes winking in and out of existence at about 10-43 seconds, the time it takes for light to traverse the Planck distance of 10-20 of a diameter of a proton. Additionally, the size of the wormhole dictates it's life span and when it evaporates and possibly explodes, energy and material making up the particle zoo is injected into the system, keeping said system to run forever. Lastly, many worlds exist but at different time scales and sizes. This is why its not just one big bang but an infinite number of same due to Hawking radiation causing worm holes to evaporate. 

Quantum Foam

If this is the case, the question to ask is, does time exist in the quantum foam where only virtual particles issue forth and disappear according to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, thus precluding any chance of time happening in the foam as "real" protons, neutrons and all the rest of the subatomic zoo appear, AFAIK, to be temporary arrangements of the quantum foam subject to varying rates of decay, thus creating the illusion of time as seen in this part of the multiverse. If this is true, then, could the act of entanglement create a link consisting of, in some weird way, a "thread" akin to a wormhole of the quantum foam, forever separate from the constraints of time or the speed of light in enabling two (or more) linked particles to instantly "talk" to one another no matter how far apart they may be.

So begins, hopefully, not a quixotic take on time, reality and the connect of analog to digital as to why this may explain how reality works at deep level. As per The Aleph, Gemini and yours truly will take the shot at TOE because riffing about something as grand is this is a crazy but fun thing to do. :)

Voxels, used in MRIs, is a way to model 3D structures (hearts, brains, etc, etc,) in ways impossible to do by any other means. For MRIs, it involves imaging slices of the organ in question and connecting the slices using lofting, The lofting connecting to the slices are voxels. Voxel generated lattices can encompass  any arbitrary external geometry known to science.

The Transactional Universe: Why Math is Just an Address

"People think the universe is made of 'Stuff' governed by mysterious equations. It’s actually much simpler: The universe is a Transaction. Think about ordering a pizza from your favorite restaurant.

The leap from medical imaging to the architecture of the cosmos isn't a metaphor—it is a 1:1 Hardware Parallel. In order for existence to exist, analog rules as seen by the OODA loop diagram whereby the ability to stay "alive" depends on observation of chaotic outside events, adaptive interaction with the environment, proper response to feedback loops driven by the environment and "intelligent" decision making based on an ever changing situation filled with uncertainties as analog is necessarily incomplete and uncertain as without these two conditions, existence cannot function.
