JFK, the last president with vision, had wit, style and intelligence to the nth degree. Flawed as we all are but also good in his own way, Kennedy was truly special without question.

On this anniversary of the death of President John F. Kennedy, we once again present a collection of quotations from his speeches.They show a man who would have been able to profoundly change the world… if he had been allowed to live.

These few excerpts display Kennedy’s wit, perception, and originality, and tell us something about the world at the time. The world was very different then — and very much the same.
